About the Diabetes National Alliance

The Diabetes National Alliance is a nationwide initiative led by a team of experts. The goal is to provide healthcare professionals with clinical information and practical therapeutic recommendations for treating patients with diabetes.

Mission

To address the growing national epidemic of diabetes by delivering evidence-based, effective treatment strategies to providers, and equipping them with the appropriate tools to help their patients achieve glycemic goals.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee, led by Jay S. Skyler, MD, Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics and Psychology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Associate Director for Academic Programs at the Diabetes Research Institute, has developed the program curriculum and will provide direction to expand the initiative and its offerings together with diabetes centers across the country.

This is a non-CE/CME program and there will be no payment for attendance or reimbursement for travel expenses. Certificates of completion will be provided to program participants.
A variety of diabetes product options will be presented, including those of sanofi-aventis.
